About Board of AdjustmentRogers County
The Rogers County Board of Adjustment is empowered by Oklahoma state law to hear appeals from the determinations of an administrative official in enforcing this Ordinance, grant special exceptions, grant variances and make interpretations of zoning maps and text within the unincorporated areas of the county.
When an application is filed, a local abstract office submits official public notices and informs nearby residents and neighborhood associations. Staff then reviews appropriate plans and development policies to formulate the case study and staff analysis. An action summary and/or minutes are prepared of the BOA meetings and sent to various county policy and administrative officials for their information and/or action as appropriate.
